The system for submitting indirect damage claims under the compensable expenses track has opened.
Dear customers,
The Tax Authority has opened the online system for submitting claims for indirect damage through the deductible expenses track for businesses throughout the country that were harmed as a result of the security situation during Operation "Iron Swords.".
Please note: The Cycles track and the Red track, for communities located on the northern confrontation line, have not yet been opened for submissions. Our office will provide an update as soon as they are opened.
Key eligibility requirements:
Businesses that opened on or before February 27, 2026.
Annual transaction volume in 2025 between NIS 12,000 and NIS 400 million.
A decrease of at least 25% in trading volume in March and April 2026, compared to the base period.
Key points for submission:
The threshold condition for filing the claim is submitting a periodic VAT report and withholding tax report for the months of March-April 2026, if there are employees in the business.
Businesses that received an advance on account of compensation are now required to submit a full claim. The advance amount will be deducted from the final compensation determined.
The deadline for submitting claims is August 17, 2026.
