Kobi Israeli is an Audit Partner and Professional Department Partner at Barzelay & Co., where he leads the audit field and the development of work methodologies in accordance with PCAOB requirements and the implementation of international quality control standards. His professional experience focuses on auditing financial statements for public and private companies in the transportation, industry, and services sectors operating under US GAAP, IFRS, and Israeli standards. In addition to his expertise in auditing, Kobi assisted government bodies by accompanying them and implementing accounting processes and standards, including the Accounting, Control, and Reporting Division in the Accountant General Department of the Ministry of Finance. He also accompanied the Ministry of Construction and Housing in the processes of implementing accounting standards, audit work, and risk surveys.
He is included in the court's expert pool and serves as a public representative with accounting expertise on property tax appeal committees and the economic assistance appeal committee in administrative courts (which includes assistance for the Corona period and "Swords of Iron").
Kobi is an accountant since 2011, holding an MBA in Finance and 14 years of experience as an academic faculty member at Tel Aviv University in the field of auditing. He is certified as a mediator and salary verifier, and his professional activity is integrated with extensive social involvement, for which he was nominated for the Tel Aviv-Yafo Mayor's Award for Community Involvement.
