CPA Avi Elgozi

CPA Avi Algozi is a partner and head of the tax department at Barazani & Co. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and joined the firm after many years of experience at the Tax Authority. The tax department under his leadership is considered one of the leading tax consulting departments in Israel, employing lawyers and tax consultants with extensive experience in tax planning and consultation, some of whom previously worked in the tax authorities. Avi's experience gained during his years at the Income Tax Authority, alongside his role as head of the tax department, provide him with detailed and in-depth knowledge in a wide range of tax issues.

Avi accompanies the firm's client representation in dealings and discussions with various tax authorities. He is knowledgeable in corporate taxation, individual taxation, including issues concerning new immigrants, academic staff, and relocation, real estate taxation, non-profit taxation, VAT law, incentive laws, National Insurance law, and international taxation. In his work, he ensures full utilization of existing tax benefits and the selection of appropriate tax routes for the firm's clients.
