CPA Boaz Barzilai is the Head of the Tax Department at the Barzilai & Co. firm. Boaz holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees (with a specialization in taxes) with highest honors in Law, and a Bachelor's degree with honors in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Boaz joined the firm in 1991. Boaz is a tax expert and engages in tax planning, consulting, and representation. As an attorney with an accounting background and practical experience, Boaz understands the client's needs from various perspectives, and his role is to tailor consulting for the client that combines the aspects of accounting reporting with tax and legal aspects.
During his years at the firm, Eaz specialized in consulting on local and international taxation and in adapting companies' organizational structures to their needs. Eaz assists our clients with all their complex tax issues, from the planning stage, through handling pre-ruling requests, to representing them before the various tax authorities.
Boaz has extensive knowledge and experience in local and international taxation. Boaz is well-versed in various tax laws, including income tax, encouragement laws, indirect taxes, real estate taxation, and more. Boaz's experience was gained from advising various organizations, including public and private companies, public institutions, authorities, partnerships, non-profits, cooperative societies, individuals, and more.
Boaz served as Deputy Chairman of the Taxation Committee of the Israel Bar Association and was a lecturer in the Accounting Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Department of Accounting at the Jerusalem College of Technology, at taxation conferences, and more.
