Avner Gefni is a partner and head of the Economic and Business Consulting department.
Avner joined Barzily & Co. in 2008, bringing with him a rich management career in large, leading companies, including public companies.
Avner has held, among other positions, VP roles in finance, marketing, and business development, a CEO role in a startup, and active chairman roles in a public company (Aberoot Industries Ltd., where he successfully led a turnaround plan) and a private company.
Since 2005, Avner has been engaged in economic and business consulting at senior levels, focusing on valuations, economic opinions, business and strategic plans, economic due diligence, and transaction support. His work is carried out across all sectors of the economy.
As part of the consulting company's activities, Avner has carried out hundreds of projects involving valuations, business plans, and economic opinions, including consulting for government entities such as the Chief Scientist's Office, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Culture.
Education: Graduate of Tel Aviv University with degrees in Economics and Statistics.
