Avner Gafni

Avner Gapni is the manager of "Barzilai Economic and Business Consulting 2008 Ltd." The company is wholly owned by Barzilai & Co., and Avner serves as its manager. Avner, a Tel Aviv University graduate in economics and statistics, is an economist with extensive managerial and business experience. He specializes in providing expert opinions for legal proceedings and litigations, economic valuations, strategic and business plans, mergers and acquisitions, and transfer pricing studies. His experience includes economic consulting in a variety of fields, including industry, services, construction, finance, high-tech, and biotechnology.

As part of the consulting firm under his management, over a thousand projects involving business plans, valuations, and economic expert opinions have been carried out over the years for government entities, public companies, private companies, and startups, including numerous assignments for the Innovation Authority and institutional bodies. In the past, he founded and managed a startup in the field of biotechnology infrastructure and held senior management positions in industry, including CFO of Pazgas, VP at Telsys, active Chairman of Avgol Industries Ltd., and active Chairman of Adi Watches from the Kibbutz Yavne group. In the framework of his roles, he has led turnaround plans, public offerings (IPOs), the development of economic and pricing models, the establishment of reporting and management systems, and engagement with state authorities on regulatory matters.
